First-person fantasy RPG

Testament: The Order of High-Human is a premium action game from developer Fairyship Games. It’s a fantasy adventure that combines RPG and Metroidvania elements. It follows the journey of an immortal king on his quest to save his people and the rest of humanity from a mad dictator.

Much like Kingdom Come: Deliverance or The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Testament: The Order of the High-Human offers players fast-paced and engaging first-person combat. It lets them mix things up with a combination of melee, ranged, and even some magic skills to utilize as they battle waves of enemies.

King of High Humans

Testament: The Order of the High-Human tells the story of two High-Human brothers, Aran and Arva, played by you. Due to an unfortunate betrayal, your brother was slain and the realm of Tessara has fallen to despair under the rule of a mad dictator worshiping a blood god. It’s now up to you to defeat this evil and forge a path to survival for your people and humanity.

One of the highlight aspects of this game is its varied combat system adaptable to various situations. Use your bow to reveal enemy weaknesses and vulnerabilities with pinpoint shots, and use your sword imbued with elemental effects to deal combo attacks to exploit them. If things get too overwhelming, utilize magical spells to set up traps that paralyze and burn multiple enemies.

There are also plenty of puzzles and platforming challenges to overcome along the way. Eye of Darkness towers strengthen enemies so destroy them on sight. To keep the combat flowing, utilize the wheel-based item system to use items on-the-fly. These magical items have different effects on your play style. You also don’t need to worry about them running out as you can also craft these items.

Promising fantasy release

If you’re a fan of fantasy RPGs and are looking for something new to check out, then include Testament: The Order of High-Human to your list of titles to try. The main attraction here is really the combat that allows for flexibility and different playstyles. The game does not contain bad language though there is frequent depiction of violence, so young players might need supervision.
